i had a good halloween. we went as pirates to the warehouse party - plenty of fun, plenty of dancing, lights and crazy people around - julie and brooke didn't make it very long due to joose - they left at 2am and never made it back - i was there till 4 or so, hanging with szymon.

it's been a busy week of work - day off tomorrow + the mountain goats w/ final fantasy at the metro. it ought to be a good day.
also gil mantera friday night at the empty bottle - ive never seen them, only heard them and heard plenty about them. i'm going for the experience i suppose, not necessarily the music, even convinced szymon and some of his friends to go.

no new news on the apt. still no subleaser, another apt we owe rent on for november. we'll see how it pans out.

looking less and less likely that i'll make it home for thanksgiving this year.

our subleaser is flaking on us on the old apt with only 3 months left. he's moving out sunday. we have to find a new tenant/are now responsible for rent on two apts/landlord said a rental company can place a renter but will take a commission, i.e. our security deposit of $900. this is fantastic.

i'm being a pirate for halloween simply out of convenience. we did find a cool stuffed quacking duck and pinned it to my striped sweater to sit on my shoulder - this is the midwest, there aint no parrots around - duh. excited that i get to dress in my costume at work today - there will be plenty of bad jokes: IRRRRRRRRRRRD! todays special? fish and chips matey!
tomorrow is a wild and crazy warehouse party with my good (& polish) friend szymon from work - should be pretty wicked.
